I do not support the American SOPA legislation. American film and music corporations are also creating legislation in Canada which is oppressive--Bill C-10. It would make it illegal for me to take a movie I buy and put it onto my hard drive. I am going to have an offline day. Might get some things around the house fixed.

christmas is actually pretty chaotic around here. it's over now. I find myself doing strange things. trying to make the universe behave, be ordered. I took all the interesting Christmas present boxes and covered them in paper I like. I am slowly cleaning out the drawers in my kitchen and painting them. I know this is absurd. There is no snow this winter, things are flowering when they shouldn't. Things fall apart...

sitting here, waiting for andy to fly in from Dublin, from Heathrow, and it's delayed...snow in the UK means slow in the UK. I spent a lot of time waiting for andy, and then I learned he's always okay, always safe and always having the best time. so I wait now knowing that any moment now, he's going to show up at the door with a pile of friends and suddenly there are too many people, too much noise, the music is going, stuff is being unloaded everywhere. It's chaos. Christmas chaos. and I really love it.

These are young males, practicing being tough. They did this every day, same place. We called it 'the coliseum'. When they got tired, they took a break, then back at it.
